As the owner and operator of Green Daisy Soaps, Sarah Barnhart personally creates all of the Green Daisy products. Her passion for handmade soap and bath products began in eighth grade when she discovered a book on soap making at the local public library. When she was just 15 years old, Sarah started Green Daisy Soaps.
Sarah graduated from college debt-free with a degree in chemistry thanks to Green Daisy Soaps and is now pursuing a career as a product development chemist.
Sarah focused her undergraduate studies in chemistry and sustainability in educating others on single-use plastics in the cosmetic industry and potential alternatives. Her hope is to help develop an affordable and comparable material to plastic for packaging to eliminate single use plastics.
